I am reading this slowly, and that pace feels correct for it. What stays with me most is the insistence on distinction: what is essential, what is borrowed, what is mistaken for the self, and what remains after that confusion is removed. Even without trying to connect it to research, it naturally reminds me of good scientific thinking: reduce noise, identify the actual structure, and do not confuse appearance with substance.
